This class is primarily intended for non-professional actors interested in exploring their work using professional techniques and processes. I have designed the course for those who would have liked to have gone to drama school but unfortunately found that life got in the way, as well as those who may be considering applying for drama school. I am also developing a course for the business community to help those needing communication & presentation skills. Originally trained as an artist and designer, Guy taught visual communication and aesthetics in higher education, whilst also studying for a second degree in English and Philosophy of Art. He first performed in 2001 and between 2002 and 2006 took major roles in productions of plays by Brecht, Berkoff, Chekhov, Shakespeare, and Pinter. Turning professional in 2007, he graduated from Birmingham School of Acting then also trained in Sam Rumbelow’s Method Acting class in London during 2008. Since graduating Guy has toured London and the Home Counties playing Richard of Gloucester in Richard III, performed Chinese folks tales in Leicester, and played Santa Claus in Nottingham. So far this year Guy has played Edmund in King Lear and the lead in Sartre's play Huis Clos as well as taking roles in several short films.
