A Nottingham based designer maker specialising in contemporary collage. Kates interests in architecture, natural history, cartography and birds heavily influence the subject matter present in her work. The collages incorporate a variety of materials including antique maps, postcards and images from old books. She combines these materials with printed and coloured papers to create pieces with a strong graphic aesthetic whilst retaining a very human and historical element. The work exists as framed original collages and as limited edition prints and greetings cards.
