Nottingham poet/writer/raconteur/rapscallion John Micallef will be performing his poetry at the Robin Hood pub on Mansfield Road, Sherwood on Tuesday 9th February at 8pm. Please come and be entertained and enlightened.

John Micallef is the local poet and musician who has recently been the Poet-in-Residence for the Music Quarter Jazz Club in Beeston. He combines performance poetry with music. His words and sounds are often poignant and sentimental, fun & funky; at times employing satire and absurdist humour; and at times autobiographical - exploring the depths of his Egyptian heritage & ancestry.

John's writing may intrigue, surprise, amuse and confuse!
