Building brands in challenging times - John Farrell

Nottinghm Business School presents: John Farrell - Building Brands in Challenging Times

John will talk about the changing demands on marketeers and brand owners relative to building brand equity in the new challenging market place that faces us, and with the fragmented media market place, exemplified by the over-growing power of the internet.

He will briefly look at the importance of real consumer understanding and the recognition that is it not marketing departments, but consumers who own brands nowadays. John will illustrate his talk with highly creative examples of media channel disruption. He will also look at perhaps the most powerful of all creative disruption; that which contributes to the 'positive disruption' of media activity. He believes the latter is mandatory for successful brand building in the current market place.
