Back To The Future? An inaugural lecture by Eva Jiricna, Visiting Professor
It is inevitable to compare the way one perceives the future at different stages of life. What initiates our desire to think about the future? What did the future mean in different eras and in context with past events?
The future has an ever-changing face, based on the experience we acquire along the way. We have to learn from nature and adapt our views with the ever-increasing responsibilities to save our planet, changing our opinions on aesthetics and taking into account the influence of research and innovation. In her inaugural lecture, renowned architect and Visiting Professor Eva Jiricna will go through examples of her practice's work and ponder the meaning of the future.
