The distinct sound of Phaeleh fuses the dark and heavy sounds of Dubstep and Drum and Bass with the melodies and soundscapes of Electronica, all sealed together with the subtle textures of acousmatic music.
A diverse range of influences results in an equally diverse musical output which can range from disturbing bass lines and heavy Dubstep/Jungle beats, perfect for the rave, to the more soulful, restrained tracks incorporating a variety of sound sources and vocal styles.

HYETAL (Soul Motive)

Up and coming Bristolian producer Hyetal appeared on Mary Anne Hobbs' Radio 1 show earlier this year and has had recent releases on labels such as Formant, Reduction and Soul Motive. It is certainly an exciting time for the producer, when listening to his music, the reason for the hype that is surrounding him becomes instantly apparent; his subtle, yet assured use of melody and harmony, along with his delicate use of percussion, creates a sonic fragility that is full of energy and emotion.

Originally from Malvern now residing in Bristol. Contraband, Bismal, Koop make up the freshest deeper act to hit the dubstep scene, Swarms. Receiving major support from Mary Ann Hobbs their rustic, melodic, soulful sounds are sending shivers down the spin of many followers with in the dubstep community, recently signed to Nottingham dubstep label For The Win look out for there forthcoming releases.
