Foundation for Community Dance: The National College for Community Dance

The National College delivers an annual programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events and learning opportunities that aim to support, inspire and improve the practice of dance leaders working in ciommunity dance contexts. The programme includes:

• workshops
• seminars
• induction, intermediate and advanced courses
• annual 3-day residential Summer School (intermediate courses)
• accredited learning pathways
• consultation events
• network events
• resource books

Working with partners across the UK, the programme provides career long professional development as well as the opportunity to meet other dance practitioners, discuss the issues that are important to you, widen your networks and update yourself on new reseach and policy that affects your practice.

Short courses are now available with or without accreditation routes. Current courses available include:

• Dance and Disable People
• Dance, Health and Wellbeing
• Dance and Age Inclusive Practice
